Privacy notice

This website processes as little personal data as possible. In detail:

Hosting

aevumquarterly.de is served via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver content and for DDoS protection. The third-country transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Fonts

The typeface Le Monde Livre Classic is loaded via Adobe Fonts (Adobe Inc., 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110, USA). When the page is opened, the IP address is transmitted to Adobe. Adobe does not set cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. The third-country transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (part of the Adobe Enterprise contract) and certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The typeface Schibsted Grotesk is self-hosted from this domain (SIL Open Font License, OFL). No third-country transfer occurs.

Analytics

Audience measurement is done with Plausible (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia; servers in Germany, data never leaves the EU). Plausible sets no cookies and collects no personal data. The data-processing agreement applies through use of the service.

Newsletter

The newsletter is sent via Substack (Substack Inc., USA). Signing up transmits your email address and the time of registration to Substack. The third-country transfer to the US is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (part of the Substack Publisher Agreement). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.

Forms (contact, submissions, replies)

The forms on the submissions page and the reply form in the discussion section are processed via Formspark (Trampoline Software SRL). Formspark is operated from Belgium; the transmitted data is stored in Ireland (EU). The data you enter (including name, email address, and your text) as well as technical data such as your IP address is transmitted, delivered to the editorial team by email, and stored in the Formspark dashboard. Formspark uses sub-processors (e.g. for cloud infrastructure and spam detection); where this involves processing outside the EU, the transfer relies on Standard Contractual Clauses. Details and the sub-processor list at formspark.io/legal/gdpr.

Please note for replies: your name and the submitted text are intended for publication and, after editorial review, appear on the website. Your email address is not published and is used only for editorial follow-up. As spam protection the forms use a hidden honeypot field, no captcha.

This website sets no cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising.
